We are completely independent from airlines and hotels, offering customers flexibility on holiday type, duration, departure point, airline and hotel. Our proprietary technology, combined with a market-leading proposition, delivers value, choice, peace of mind and financial protection for our customers. On the Beach has a well invested, recognised brand and app, driving customer loyalty and marketing efficiency.
The Group has a strong balance sheet with no structural debt.
Operating in a large, resilient market in long term structural growth
Overseas leisure travel spend continues to grow year on year, and within that, package holidays continue to grow in popularity.
The market is in long term structural growth with share of pax seeking an overseas package vs DIY increasing from 40% to 59% over the last 10 years. Growth in package uptake is highest for younger generations, supporting long term structural adoption. With On the Beach Summer ’25 volumes up 13%, we have been growing significantly ahead of the market.
Seat and bed supply remain abundant, with over 70m seats from UK departure points to European destinations in Summer ‘25, including an additional 5% airline capacity to beach leisure destinations and total seat growth of +3% from the UK to all European destinations. This represents significant headroom for On the Beach to continue to grow into, having taken 1.7m passengers away on holiday during 2025.
Proprietary, scalable end-to-end technology platform
We have significantly accelerated developments to our technology platform which are enabling us to increase our addressable market. Results to date include:
- Facilitated market expansion into the Republic of Ireland, city breaks and cruise holidays
- Significant increase in Net Promoter Score to 56
- Automated and optimised hotel content, while also making significant improvements to the speed of onboarding new destinations
- Using AI to; automate significant volumes of supply-related tasks, increase the velocity of engineering tasks and to assist with using new technologies
- We are now able to store billions of holiday combinations and present the results in seconds.
